● Moved sixty-inch coil slitter from Charlotte, NC to Chesapeake, VA● Creatively improvised new techniques on the job to meet unique, challenging demands of customer: ○ Constructed looping pit twenty- five feet deep with water roughly five feet below concrete floor, while instructed not to touch twenty-five-foot roof● Achieved this by cutting sheet piling into twelve-footpieces, gradually welding them together as they were vibrated into the ground, creating pit with 10’x 8’x 25’ ● Performed complex math to account for over 1,500 lbs.of water pressure per sq. ft and 280,000 lbs. of up= pressure, used sixty well points for dewatering● Welded one foot of rebar on twelve-inch centers on 200 yards of concrete ● Assembled six complete roll- forming lines, including slitter and packaging line● Installed six-thousand-amp service with switchgear and two 2,000-amp motor control centers—which we used to power all machines in use, including step-down transformers● Built and installed underground utility troughs, all of which were provided by Delta Mechanical LLC.
